Founded in 2013 by university leaders from 17 countries, Oxonia is a young but growing organisation dedicated to promoting global higher education through and with its University and Associate member base.
Oxonia actively promotes collaboration among the universities it is connected to and its links now stretch across Europe to the Far East, Africa and South America.
Oxford City Academy for Education and Development (OAED)
OAED is an independent organisation dedicated to supporting global higher education. It provides a wide range of educational services to institutions worldwide through the gradual building of strong links with many institutions and agencies in both the UK and abroad.
Headquartered in Oxford, OAED hosts a number of leadership programmes each year, specifically for leaders who work in higher education as well as individuals engaged in internationalisation within their institution. These have led to some interesting collaborative projects including remote English language training for the University of Central Europe in Slovakia and the development of bespoke programmes for the British Council in Libya (for in-country delivery) and a student focussed programme for Malaysian universities, among others.
